Brandon& Brittany

“I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, and everything you’re yet to be.”

On a cloudy Sunday Brittany & Brandon met at Shelter Gardens in Columbia Missouri for their engagement portraits. These two are complete naturals when it comes to their portraits. The love that they share is something to be admired and cherished. You can tell that it is a love that will last a life time. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in May. What a Gorgeous bride you’ll make!

Love, Elizabeth

Lucas & Jasmin – Lund, Sweden (Sverige) Skåne

“One day, you’ll meet the person who brings you the most happiness, like the sun rises and sets with you.”

I have never seen Lucas happier than when he is with Jasmin. When the two are together you know this is something special. They share a love that many people search a lifetime for. They couldn’t be more perfect for each other.

We thought this was the perfect spot to photograph the two of them. It is in the heart of Lund, where they both grew up. The light peered through the small buildings and perfectly lit the cobble stone streets as they embraced one another.
It was adorable to see the way Lucas could bring out a smile from Jasmin, with little teasing and kisses. These two have have been friends since grade school, and I am so excited to see what is next for the two of them.
Be blessed!

Lucas

My host brother has to be one of my most favorite people in the world. We were so blessed to be able to stay with my second host family in Lund. The evening after my host brother spent the entire afternoon taking us around Lund, we thought a photo shoot was in order. I thought it would be really neat to photograph his tattoos. The last time I saw him he was 16 (an no tattoos.) His creativity and deep spirit is infectious and he is someone you never forget meeting.
My host family is so amazing, and so welcoming. They truly made our stay unforgettable with abundance in hospitality.

I can’t wait to post photos of Lucas and his girlfriend Jasmine next!!! They are such an amazing couple!

Lund, Sweden-My home away from home-& Skarhults slott.

“Travel changes you. As you move through this life…. you leave marks behind, however small. And, in return, life and travel leaves marks on you.” Anthony Bourdain

I was so lucky to have the opportunity to spend an entire year in Sweden 10 years ago, and so thankful to be able to go visit my old home for that year. Lund holds such a special spot in my heart and I am so happy to be able to share it with a friend of mine, Aubrey.

Skarhults slott is a castle that sits just outside of Lund and has been owned only by women. Dating back to the 1500’s with its winding stair cases, and breathtaking rooms, this castle is simply stunning.

Lund is one of the oldest Cities in Sweden, dating back to 990. Lund has such an infectious charm and welcoming atmosphere. Cobblestone streets line the city, colored houses are nestled into the center of the city with wild flowers growing.
I definitely felt at home while walking the streets, stopping into shops and store along the way.

My heart yearns to visit Lund again, as it not only is the place I spent most of my time in, but it holds my host families.

A little City called Gothenburg, Sweden-Göteborg-Sverige

If you’re looking for a place to loose yourself, Gothenburg is the place to be. With its’ breathtaking architecture, beautiful canals & cobblestone streets, this city has so much to offer.
Uniquely, Gothenburg was designed by the Dutch in 1621, and sits as the second largest city in Sweden (second to Stockholm.) Gothenburg gives a feel of Stockholm resembling in beauty.
“Enjoy the little things in life, because one day you will look back, and realize they were the big things.”
I will forever love traveling to Sweden, and I can’t wait until I can go back.

Feskekôrka (Fish Church) opened on 1 November, 1874 and got its’ name from the building’s resemblance to a Gothic church. (Look at the tiny truck!)

William & Regina

William & Regina were married on a picturesque backyard next to a ponds edge.
William & Regina first laid eyes on each other in a church pew and never looked back. They have the type of love that is a rare find. Regina incorporated so many memories into her wedding, from rings to six pence in her shoe she was sure to make them a part of her day. I loved hearing all of the stories about each item. She also had a unique dress, not your typical white but a tealy-blue color! I loved her creativity she put into her wedding.
Both decided a first look was a great option to start their day, and the day came to a close with the most amazing sunset as they enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife.

I am so thankful to be allowed to capture such a beautiful moment. Blessings to the both of you as you take your next steps together in life.

Palmer Twins

These two little girls are a miracle from heaven. Madeline & Christian were a HUGE surprise to mom and dad as they were not expecting to be expecting- and not only one baby but two!!
I was so blessed to be able to photograph my Pastors newborn twins.
Josh & Jennifer are Pastors at Destiny Pointe Church. They have two older children and are excited to open their home to twins! Their love and devotion to their church family is remarkable. There is no question that God’s hand is not over them in this new season of life. Madeline & Christian spent several weeks in the NICU as they were born very early. Thank you for allowing me into your lives and the blessing to capture these little ones and their beginning in life.
Congrats to the Palmer family!

Kluge Family

The Kluge Family-
I cannot express the joy I have posting about the Kluge family. I go all the way back to my high school days when it comes to Kenny & Leah.
They chose Riverside Park in Janesville, Wisconsin as their location. This is where Kenny proposed! (How romantic!)
Now-a-days they have three gorgeous babies and I enjoyed capturing every moment with them. This family will always hold a special spot in my heart, their beauty on the outside matches what is on the inside and that is a very rare find.
